Season 2 of The Family Man to be streamed on Prime Video in the coming year

The second season of the thrilling web series The Family Man will be streamed on Prime Video in the coming year.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the first poster of the new season of the well-acclaimed Amazon Original Series.

The intriguing teaser shows us a picture of a time bomb with the time saying ‘2021’. 






The New Year will see Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade) taking on a bigger and deadlier mission. Along with keeping up with a high-pressure job and keeping his country safe, Srikant Tiwari will also be seen juggling between his role as a father and a husband.

In a post on Twitter, Manoj Bajpayee said, 'It’s been a long wait! Thank you for your love & patience. Coming with a gift in the new year... stay tuned!

The official Twitter handle of Amazon Prime Video read, “Don't know about the timer here, but we're exploding with excitement .”

The Family Man 2 will star Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Gul Panag and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Samantha Akkineni makes her digital debut with the show and will be seen in a negative role in the show.

The show’s shoot wrapped up in March this year.

Created and directed by Raj and DK , The Family Man 2 will see Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi reprising their roles along with Priya Mani and Sharad Kelkar.

The Family Man is an edgy, action-drama series, which tells the story of a middle-class man, Srikant Tiwari, who works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency. The series plots Srikant's tight-rope walk as he struggles to strike a balance between his secretive low paying, high-pressure, high-stakes job and being a husband and father.

Season 1 of The Family Man started streaming on Amazon Prime Video September 20, 2019. It won plaudits from the audience as well as the film critics.

The web series won several awards at the first Filmfare OTT awards.

Prime members will be able to watch The Family Man Season 2 anywhere and anytime on the Prime Video app for smart TVs, mobile devices, Fire TV, Fire TV stick, Fire tablets, Apple TV, etc. In the Prime Video app, Prime members can download episodes on their mobile devices and tablets and watch anywhere offline at no additional cost.
