Zee acquires India & Overseas rights of the Salman's Radhe

In the biggest deal for a film post the lockdown, Zee has acquired theatrical, digital,satellite and music rights for Salman Khan starrer Radhe .

Trade sources said that Zee has bought the India and Overseas theatrical, digital, satellite and music rights of Radhe for a staggering price between Rs 200 to Rs 220 crore.

The sources said that the deal was agreed upon in a meeting held between Salman and Punit Goenka .

They said that this is so far the biggest deal finalised for release of a film post-lockdown.







Sources said that the producers of Radhe are eying an EID 2021 release.

The film will be released theatrically and thereafter will be streamed on OTT.

Directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri, Radhe was earlier scheduled for a release on Eid this year. However, the release of the film had to be deferred due to the Covid pandemic.

The film stars Salman Khan, Megha Akash, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.

The film is believed to be a remake of the South Korean film Veteran.
