Film based on life of 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan to release on July 2

Major, a film based on life of 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, will hit cinema screens on July 2 this year.

Taking to social media, producer of the film Mahesh Babu said,'2nd July 2021. The #MAJOR day.'

The makers of the film also unveiled a new poster of the movie, featuring Adivi Shesh as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

Sesh Adivi is seen in an intense look in the new poster.

Major will trace the journey of the late army officer Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life for the nation in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

The intention of this film is to celebrate the life of Major Sandeep.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major  is being shot in Hindi and Telugu.

However, the film will be released in other languages also..

Besides Adivi Shesh, Major , being produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies,
also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma in leading roles.
