Disney Hotstar unveils first look of 1962: The War In The Hills, to stream from February 26

Disney Hotstar last night unveiled the first look of its new series 1962 - The War In The Hills, featuring Abhay Deol in the lead role. The series, inspired by true events during the 1962 India China War, will stream on Disney Hotstar from February 26.

'Presenting the first look of #HotstarSpecials1962 - The War In The Hills. An untold story of bravery and courage. All episodes out on Feb 26. Jai Hind!,'Disney Hotstar said on the occasion of Republic Day. 

The series will launch on February 26 2021 exclusively for subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium.





Disney Hotstar unveils first look of 1962: War in the hills



Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, 1962 - The War In The Hills narrates the story of an untold story of bravery and valour in a War in November 1962 ,

Actor Abhay Deol will be essaying the role of an army major who is leading a battalion in the 1962 India China War.

Sharing the first look of the new series, Abhay Deol said “No better occasion than our Republic Day to salute our jawaans and warriors who tirelessly protect us round the clock. As a tribute, I am happy to release the first look of 1962: The War In The Hills. It is an untold story of bravery and valour; and yet continues to be relatable to us today. As director, Mahesh Manjrekar has presented a unique view in this war-epic”
