Kuldeep said, he made  Cheer Haran' as he wanted to bring out the truth behind it.

" I started making  'Cheer Haran,' during the Jatt reservation agitation in 2016. When I visited Haryana I saw a lot of things were not fully shown in the news , so I started documenting them because as a film maker that's the only medium I could reach out to the people with truth,'he said.

Cheer Haran, directed by Kuldip Ruhil and produced by Ritu Ruhil and Kuldeep Ruhil,  tries to recreate the Jat Reservation Andolan and riots through the voices of people involved.

'' We hope our effort contributes in inspiring viewers to seek truth and learn from it,''Kuldip Rahil said.

Speaking about the film, its presenter Abhishek Pathak said,'this documentary is an effort towards remembering the lessons we've learnt from human conflicts. I hope we are able to shed light on the facts and the compassion that was needed at the time.''
