S 2 of Family Man postponed, to release on Prime Video in Summer 2021

In a bit of a disappointment for those eagerly awaiting release of Season 2 of the action thriller The Family Man, makers of the popular web series have postponed its release to Summer of 2021.

It was earlier reported that S2 of the web series would be  streaming from February 12.

Taking to Twitter, producers of The Family Man Raj and DK said, 'we know that you have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love.

We have an update for you. The Season 2 of The Family Man will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Summer. We have been working super hard to get you a kickers season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can't wait to bring it to you. '


Season 2 of The Family Man to stream on Amazon Prime Video in Summer 2021









The makers had earlier hinted at a February release of the Season 2 of the popular action thriller web series, which features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role of an intelligence officer.

A taut action thriller, Season 1 of The Family Man released last year on Amazon Prime Video, kept the viewers intrigued with its various twists and turns and had them on the edge of their seats.

Created and visualized by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D K, The Family Man also features Samantha Akkineni, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwantary and Shahab Ali among others.

The Season 2 of the show will see Manoj Bajpayee reprise his character as Srikant Tiwari, along with Samantha Akkineni, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles.

Earlier, the makers of the web series released a teaser of Season 2 and promised to bring a trailer soon.

The teaser of the second season showed how the family and colleagues of Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, are searching for him and wondering about his whereabouts. 

It was also reported that Season 2 of the web series would be streamed on February 12.

However, now, the release of the series has been postponed to Summer.
