Bhumi Pednekar, Yashraj films take trip down memory lane on 6 yrs of Dum Laga Ke Haisha

It was an emotional trip down memory lane for actress Bhumi Pednekar as she revisited her debut film Dum Laga Ke Haisha on six years of the release of the film.

On the occasion, Bhumi posted a video of her visiting the house in Haridwar where a large part of the shooting for the film was held.

'It is in this house that I shot my first scene for Dum Laga Ke Haisha. It is here that Bhumi Pednekar the actress was born,'the actress said in the video getting emotional as she remembered her days during the Shooting of the film, which featured her along with Ayushmann Khurana.

Sharing the video clip of her visit to the spot where the film was shot, Bhumi Pednekar said, ''A trip down memory lane, as I visit the place where it all started :) #6yearsofdumlagakehaisha #gratitude #livingthedream Thank you

Bhumi Pednekar takes trip down memory lane on 6 years of release of her debut film Dum Laga Ke Haisha 



Released on February 27, 2015, Dum Laga Ke Haisha is the love story of Prem(Ayushmann Khueaba) and Sandhya (Bhumi Pednekar) . Prem's marriage is fixed by his father to an overweight girl Sandhya. However Prem feels embarrassed at being seen with his wife, which strains their relationship. The film is about how Prem realizes his mistake and eventually falls in love with Sandhya.

Directed by Sharat Katariya, Dum Laga Ke Haisha also featured Sanjay Misra and Seema Pahwa in key roles.

The film won a lot of critical acclaim for performances by Ayushmann Katrina and Bhumi Pednekar. The film also good music, which was composed by Anu Malik.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha received five nominations at the 61st Filmfare Awards, winning two, Best Female Debut for Pednekar and Best Cinematography. The song "Moh Moh Ke Dhaage" got three nominations for its lyrics by Varun Grover and vocals by Papon and Monali Thakur. The film also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
