Edge of the seat thrills,peformances by Tanaya Sachdev, Ishaan Khanna & Sid Menon make LSD a must watch

A murder happens at a hospital where five interns are the main suspects. All of them have the motive and the evidence points towards their involvement.

This is the premise with which the new Alt Balaji web series Love Scandal and Doctors starts. However, there is a saying that all is not what it seems.

Five young medical interns at the KMRC hospital, considered one of India's topmost hospitals, are under the radar of police investigation in the Murder of a patient Asif at the hospital. All the circumstantial evidence seems to point at finger of suspicion at the five interns- Vik, Kartik, Rahima, Sara and Kabir.

However, as the plot unravels, one realizes that there is more to the murder than what meets the eye. As layer after layer from the mystery unravels , the five interns come across as saviours rather than the perpetrators to the crime.

As the show goes into frequent flashback mode, chronicling the lives of the five interns in the past six months, and the mystery unfolds, the needle of suspicion swings from one intern to another, keeping the viewers constantly on the edge of their seats.

The story moves at a fast pace, giving the show a pacy feel with not a single dull moment. The writers Palki Malhotra and Prakriti Mukherjee anage to give an edge feel to the show by constantly building up the mystery element.

The excellent background score only add to the thrill and mystery element of the show.

What adds to the entertainment element are the performances by the cast.

As the five medical interns, Ishaan Khanna as Dr Kartik, Siddharth menon as Dr Vik, Tanaya sachdev as Dr Sara, Shrishti Ganguly as Dr Rahima and Ayush Shrivastava as Dr Kabir come up with good performances, effectively bringing out the various weaknesses and frustrations of the five interns.
However, of the five, Siddhanth menon as Dr Vik, Ishaan Khanna as Dr Kartik and Tanaya sachdev as Dr Sara look promising and add color to the proceedings .

Neha Hinge and Ashmita Jaggi impress as senior resident doctor Chitra and as Rahima's lover Dr Sam.

Pulkit Makol as Rahima's abusive husband Asif, , Punit Pathak as inspector Tavish and Rahul Dev as the hospital dean Dr Rana give a competent performance.

The real usp of the show is, however its edge of the seat suspense and 'a thrill a minute which keeps viewers on the tenterhooks throughout the length of the show.

In a nutshell, the edge of the seat thrills and performances by main cast make Love Scandal and Doctors as a must watch suspense thriller and first of its kind murder mystery on OTT.

My Rating: 4/5- one for the story, one for the edge of the seat screenplay, one for performances by Tanaya sachdev, Ishaan Khanna and Siddhanth menon and one for the background score .
