Lata Mangeshkar pays tribute to freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary

Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar today paid tribute to late freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary.

Sharing pictures of Veer Savarkar, including a rare photograph of herself with the freedom fighter, Lata Mangeshkar said, 'today is the death anniversary of great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. We mangeshkars pay a heartfelt tribute to him.'

A renowned freedom fighter and a member of the Hindu Mahasabha, Veer Savarkar died on February 26, 1966 at the age of 82.
