Salim Sulaiman wrap up shoot for Chanda Jhaanke in Manali, song to be released Mar 8

Music composers Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant today wrapped up the shoot for their next single Chanda Jhaanke with singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi in Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

Sharing pictures of the wrap up of the shoot, Salim Merchant said, 'Wrapped our shoot in Manali for our upcoming song #ChandaJhaanke with Hansraj Raghuvanshi for @MerchantRec This one will release on 8th March. #Mahashivratri2021.''

Chanda Jhaanke, that will be sung by singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi, will be released on Mahashivaratri.

Salim Merchant had earlier this week driven to Manali along with his brother Sulaiman Merchant for the shoot of the song.

He had shared a picture of himself with Sulaman Merchant and Hansraj Raghuvanshi in the snow capped Manali.

The music composer duo had earlier shot a romantic music video Tumhe Dekh Ke in heavenly Kashmir.

Tumhe Dekh Ke, sung by former Indian Idol winner Salman Ali,   featured him along with Kashmiri actress Mateena Rajput.

The music video was directed by Kashmiri filmmaker Tassaduq Hussain.

Salim and Suleman Merchant have been promoting independent music in the country through their music label Merchant records.

They had last year come out with their first music album Bhoomi 2020 under their music label.

Bhoomi 2020 featured an eclectic range of songs sung by talented artists like Shreya Ghoshal, Salman Ali, Benny Dayal and Arijit singh.

One of the songs from the album Saanwal earlier this week registered 25 million hits on social media
