Trailer of Parineeti Chopra's next The Girl on the Train promises a thrill ride for viewers

Film lovers across the country are set to be treated to a thrill ride in Parineeti Chopra's next film The Girl on the Train.
The trailer of the film, to be streamed on Netflix from February 26, gives audiences a peek into an intriguing murder mystery.
The trailer of The Girl on the Train– an official adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling book by the same name – takes viewers through the story of Meera (Parineeti Chopra), a lawyer with a dark past and a broken marriage. Meera, who suffers from short-term amnesia, envies the 'madly in love' couple she sees from the train she takes daily. One day, she witnesses something unexpected that breaks her trust. As Meera embarks on a journey to unravel the truth , she finds herself unknowingly getting embroiled in a ruthless crime. The film is about how Meera solves the crime.
The trailer takes viewers through the wide range of emotions that Meera goes through as she finds herself embroiled in the murder mystery that she had set herself upon to solve.

The film, which features Parineeti Chopra in the title role, marks Parineeti Chopra's return to the screen after a long hiatus.
Parineeti Chopra had on Saturday unveiled a poster of the film, which showed the actress in a sullen and downcast look.
A suspense thriller, The Girl on the Train, written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance entertainment, is a Hindi remake of Hollywood movie of the same name, based on Paula Hawkins' 2015 bestseller The Girl On The Train.
In the Hindi remake, Parineeti Chopra plays the role done by Emily Blunt in the original film.
Besides Parineeti Chopra, The Girl on the Train features Aditi Rao Hyderi and Kirti Kulhari in key roles. Kirti Kulhari plays a cop in the film .
Director Ribhu Dasgupta said he was excited to bring the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film to audiences.
'This film has been a real ride of emotion and passion for me,'he said.
Earlier, releasing the trailer, Netflix said, 'Hold on to your seats, this is going to be one hell of a ride. #TGOTT .'
The release of the film on Netflix comes after several postponements due to the Corona virus pandemic.
The film was earlier postponed several times earlier due to the Covid pandemic. The film was scheduled for May 2020 release but due to the pandemic, it was delayed. Instead of opting for theatrical release, the film will have a direct digital premiere on the streaming platform.
