Tumhe Dekh Ke: an ode to innocent love in Kashmir

After an eclectic range of songs in their music album Bhoomi 2020, Salim Merchant and Suleman Merchant have now come out with their new song Tumhe Dekh Ke, an ode to innocent love in breathtaking locales of the Kashmir Valley.

The music video of the song Tumhe Dekh Ke, sung by singer Salman Ali, brings out an 'innocent love story of 2 beautiful souls set in heavenly Kashmir'.

The music video, shot in the breathtaking locales of the Kashmir Valley, features singer Salman Ali and Kashmiri actress Mateena Rajput.

Salim Merchant said that the music video of Tumhe Dekh Ke conveys a beautiful love story where the eyes speak what words fail to say.


Salim Merchant's new music video is an ode to innocent love in heavenly Kashmir 



Describing Tumhe Dekh Ke as 'a timeless love song', the music composer said he is excited about the latest single released under the banner of Merchant records, a company started by Salim and his brother Suleman to support independent music in the country.

Sung by by Salman ali , Tumhe Dekh Ke has lyrics by Shraddha Pandit.

The music video has been shot in the breathtaking locales in Kashmir Valley.

Salim Merchant, who recently visited Kashmir to shoot the music video, has described the Valley as 'Heaven on Earth'.

The music composer last month shared pictures of his shooting the music video in the snow capped peaks in the Kashmir Valley.

Calling Kashmir as a 'Heaven on Earth', Salim Merchant said, 'There is no Place on Earth like Kashmir. The land , the people , the food , the Love '

In fact, Tumhe Dekh Ke, is the first song shot by Salim Merchant and Suleman Merchant in the Kashmir Valley.

Tumhe Dekh Ke has provided an opportunity to many a local talent from the Kashmir Valley.

The song ‘Tumhe Dekh Ke’, has been directed by Tassaduq Hussain, a Kashmiri filmmaker while it features Kashmiri actress Mateena Rajput.

Further, several local Kashmiri talent were involved in making of the music video.

Salim Merchant said that Kashmir is bubbling with talent. He plans to organize a music concert in the Kashmir Valley in the near future.

The music single Tumhe Dekh Ke comes after the music composers brought out their first music album Bhoomi 2020  featuring an eclectic range of songs.

Bhoomi 2020 evoked praise from music lovers and critics for featuring a diverse range of songs sung by several talented singers, including Shreya Ghoshal,  Salman Ali , Raj pandit,  Arijit singh,  Kaushiki, Osman Meer , Raj pandit and  Jonita Gandhi and Swaroop Khan.

The album featured seven songs , including Saanwal, Muraliya , Haq Ali, Zinda Dil , Saiyaan Bol , Haji Peer and Jheeni Jheeni.
