Biopic on life of Saina Nehwal to hit screens on Mar 26

Saina, a biopic on the life of one of India's greatest badminton players Saina Nahwal , will release in cinemas on March 26, the makers of the film said today.

Announcing the release of the film, which features Parineeti Chopra in the title role, producers T series said, ''Presenting the inspiring story of one of India’s greatest athletes, #Saina. In cinemas on 26th March. @ParineetiChopra @NSaina #AmoleGupte @Manavkaul19 @eshannaqvi

Saina Nahwal also took to social media to share the first look of her film.

Biopic on life of Saina Nehwal to release in cinemas on March 26




Written and directed by Amole Gupte, Saina has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rashesh Shah under the banner of T-Series and Front Foot Pictures.

It also features Manav Kaul in a key role.

Saina has music by Amaal Malik and lyrics by Kunaal Vermaa. The film has been edited by Deepa Bhatia.

Parineeti Chopra who enthralled audiences with her performance in the murder mystery The Girl on The Train, will now be seen in the inspirational role of one of India's greatest sportswear Saina Nahwal in Saina.

The film was initially set to release in September 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
