Nachiket Lele's elimination from Indian idol leaves music lovers & audiences shocked

Music lovers and television audiences were left shocked yesterday with elimination of talented contestant from Kalyan Nachiket Lele from Indian Idol 12.

Nachiket Lele was among the bottom 3 contestants in the elimination episode of the singing reality show, aired on Sony entertainment television last night.

Along with Nachiket, Sawai Bhatt and Mohammad Danish were among the bottom three contestants in the episode based on judges votes over the last two weeks.

Nachket Lele got eliminated as he secured the least number of votes in the episode as per the votes of the audiences.

Earlier in the episode, which featured yesteryears actress Neetu Singh as a guest, Nachiket and Mohammad Danish had impressed her and the judges with their performance on the songs Bachna Ae Haseeno from the film Hum Kusi Se Kum Nahin and Chookar Mere Man Ko from Yaarana.

With Nachiket Lele's elimination, the top nine contestants of the Indian idol 12 are Pawandeep Rajan, Mohammad Danish, Sawai Bhatt, Shahrukh Priya, Anjali Gaikwaad, Sayali Kamble, Arnica Kanjilal, Nihal Taro and Aashish Kulkarni.

Nachiket Lele's elimination from Indian idol 12 leaves music lovers and viewers disappointed 

Nachiket's elimination has left fans and music lovers disappointed.

Expressing disappointment on Nachiket's elimination, a viewer said, 'Just watched Indian Idol and so sad to see Nachiket go! They are all just incredible! The only show I watch by appointment viewing, because of these mind blowing singers! '

Another viewer said, 'No no no Nachiket did not deserve to go this early
. If possible, plz bring him back .'

Two weeks ago, Visakhapatnam singer Shreesha Bhagvatullah's elimination had also caused a lot of disappointment among music lovers and viewers.

Reacting to the viewers' opinions, playback Singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani, who is one of the judges on the reality show, said,'
Unfortunately, we have no choice to lose a gem at every elimination. Every show is finite. We are lucky to have so many contestants each of whom deserves to win their own show. The sad part is, this "luck" comes with the misfortune of watching eliminations and feeling that loss.'

Shortly after quitting the show, Nachiket Lele took to Instagram to express his gratitude for having got an opportunity to be a part of the show.

“Every round here was a challenge. To be able to act, sing, be the hero, and singer of the song was an amazing experience. Although it wasn’t easy as it seemed, the zeal to try something new has kept me going. This beautiful journey from “Tum jo mil Gaye to” to the final performance “Chukar mere Mann ko” on this stage is very precious 'he said in an emotional post.

Nachiket Lele said that his journey on Indian idol has been very precious 

Hailing from Kalyan in Maharashtra, Nachiket Lele is a well-known Marathi singer who has sung in various music concerts.

He has earlier participated in many music reality shows such as Zee TV’s SaReGaMaPa (2016) and won the title Zee Marathi’s SaReGaMaPa in 2018.

At Indian Idol 2020, Nachiket is not just famous for his singing but also for his various look and getup he uses while performing.
