Tapsee commences shoot for Shabaash Mithu,based on life of skipper of Women's cricket team Maithali Raj.

Tapsee Pannu, who earlier this year wrapped up the shoot of the film Rashmi Rocket and comic thriller Loop Lapeta, today commenced shooting for Shabaash Mithu , biopic on the life of Captain of the Women's Cricket team Maithali Raj.

Sharing a picture of the opening day of the shoot, Tapsee Pannu said, 'Let’s go...Day 1 ! #ShabaashMithu 🏏
#WomenInBlue.'

The picture showed Tapsee all padded up in the cricket gear.

Tapsee is assaying the role of Maithali Raj in the film., which is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and being produced by Viacom 18.

Tapsee Pannu has over the last few weeks shared on Instagram pictures of herself in the cricket gear, including the thigh pad.

The actress had earlier this year completed shooting for the film Rashmi Rocket, where she plays an athlete.

She had last month completed the shooting for the thriller Loop Lapeta, where she plays the lead opposite Tahir Raj Bhasin.

Loop lapeta, an official adaptation of the German film Run Lola Run , will hit cinema screens on October 22 this year.
