He went away too soon: Lata Mangeshkar remembers Rishi Kapoor on his death anniversary

Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar today remembered Rishi Kapoor on his first death anniversary.

On Rishi Kapoor's death anniversary   Lata Mangeshkar shared a throwback picture of child Rishi Kapoor in her lap and another picture of Rishi receiving the Dinanath Mangeshkar award from her.

Reminiscing about Rishi Kapoor,  Lata mangeshkar said that she was sad that he went away so soon.

Sharing the pictures, Lata Mangeshkar said, 'today is the first death anniversary of our beloved Rishi Kapoor.  Rishi Kapoor made a name for himself at a very young age. He was a brilliant actor. He also sang songs. I am very sad at his death at such an early age. I bow to his memory. '

Today is the first death anniversary of Rishi Kapoor,  who carved a niche for himself as Bollywood’s favourite lover boy with films like Bobby, Kabhie Kabhie, Khel Khel Mein, Bade Dil Wala, and  Chandni.

He died on April 30 after a long battle with cancer.

On his death anniversary,  his fans and several celebrities from Tinsel Town paid tributes to him.
