18+ celebrities get vaccinated,urge people to get a vaccine jab to protect themselves from Covid

With vaccination for people between 18 years and 45 years having commenced from May 1, several 18 plus celebrities from the world of entertainment today got themselves vaccinated and urged people to get a jab of the Covid-19 vaccine to protect themselves from coronavirus infection..

Among those who got themselves vaccinated were actors Radhika Madan,  Parth Samtana , Sanjana Sanghi and Rasika Dugal.

Radhika Madan, who featured in the film Angrezi Medium, shared pictures of her getting the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.

Sharing the pictures,  Radhika urged her fans to get themselves vaccinated.

'One step at a time..#vaccinated. I urge everyone to get themselves registered and get their shot and please take full precautions at the vaccination centers. Wear two masks, sanitize your hands, maintain distance and don't panic. Don't forget to get a good night's sleep the day before and stay well hydrated, Radhika said.

'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' star Parth Samthaan also took the first shot of the vaccine.

Sharing on social media a  video of his vaccination , he said, ' it’s time to unite and protect ourselves.'

Dil Bechara actor Sanjana Sanghi also got herself vaccinated.

Sharing pictures of her getting vaccinated,  Sanjana said, 'tiny rays of hope and sunshine in dark times.  Get vaccinated.'

Out of Love and Mirzapur actor Rasika Dugal also posted pictures of her getting vaccinated.

Individuals from the age of 18 to 45 are getting vaccinated under the third phase of the Covid-19 vaccination in the country.

In recent weeks, there has been a unprecedented surge in covid cases in the country.

4.12 lakh covid cases were recorded in the country in last 24 hours.

The country  has been witnessing over 3 lakh cases a day for the last two weeks.
