Raj Kaushal,  actress Mandira Bedi's husband and the filmmaker who launched several careers in Bollywood with his college romance musical film Pyar Mein Kabhi kabhi , died this morning after suffering from cardiac arrest.

Trade sources said that Raj Kaushal, who launched career of several newcomers including Sanjay Suri, Dino Morea and Rinki Khanna with Pyar Main Kabhi Kabhi, suffered a cardiac arrest early this morning.

Celebrities from the world of entertainment expressed their condolences on the sudden demise of Raj .

Among those who expressed their condolences included Anupam kher,  Ashoke Pandit,  Manoj Bajpayee, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Neha Dhupia,  Ronit bose Roy, Akanksha puri and Vishal Dadlani.

Expressing his condolences on death of Raj Kaushal,  veteran actor Anupam kher said, 'Deeply saddened & shocked to know about the sudden demise of #RajKaushal! A friend, a film maker & a very positive man. Have some great memories of working with him & spending time with him few years back. Sorry dearest Mandira Bedi and  family for your irreparable loss. #OmShanti .'

'Deepest condolences to Mandira Ma’am, her children and their family. This is so shocking. Rest in peace #RajKaushal sir 'actress Kriti Kharbanda said  in her condolences.

In his condolence, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit said, 'Shocked to hear about the sad demise of our colleague #RajKaushal an ace filmmaker due to massive heart attack this morning. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Mandira Bedi for this huge tragedy. We stand by you and your entire family in this hour of crisis. ॐ शान्ति ! .''

In his condolence message,  Boman irani said, 'Shocked and saddened by the passing of #RajKaushal . May the Lord grant mandirabedi and the family the strength to bear this loss. '

Neha Dhupia also condolences the death of Raj Kaushal.

Sharing a picture of herself with Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi', she said,'Raj, we took this picture to create more and more memories… can’t believe you are nt with us anymore … Mandira , my strong strong girl, I am at a loss of words. My heart belongs to Vir and Tara  … I’m shaken up and in shock and disbelief as I write this , RIP Raj.'

In his condolence   Arshad Warsi said ,'Today I lost a very dear friend, my condolences to his family. Known Raj Kaushal, for years, done a film with him, enjoyed every minute of his company. I have never seen a frown on his face, he was always smiling, always there if you needed him…will miss you brother… RIP.'

Divya Dutta alsoexpressed her condolences.

In his condolence  filmmaker Onir said, "Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer Raj kaushal this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film My Brother Nikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul."

Rohit Bose Roy also expressed his condolence on death of Raj Kaushal.

"Raj, my friend, my brother… keep spreading the cheer where ever your next abode is… Knowing your penchant for good homes, I am sure you are looking for a good spot in heaven RIGHT NOW! We all loved you dearly and you know that … unfortunately, we kept saying next week next week and that week never came. See you on the other side my bro….Till we raise hell again, REST IN PEACE.,'he said.

In his condolence,  music composer Vishal Dadlani said, 'the first person to trust me with making music for a film, Raj kaushal created so many careers with, #PyaarMeinKabhiKabhi. Above that, he always stood with his friends. Mandira Bedi, I don't know what to say. Can't imagine how you and the kids are feeling right now. I'm so sorry. '

Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal tied the knot in 1999. They have two children -- daughter Tara and son Vir.

Raj Kaushal had launched many careers with his 1999 film Pyar Main Kabhi kabhi.

A musical love story, Pyar main Kabhi kabhi starred debutantes Rinke Khanna, Dino Morea and Sanjay Suri.

Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi was groundbreaking for the Bollywood film industry, presenting 300 debutantes in cast and crew, an industry first in Indian cinema.
