Was raw and completely naive as an actor during Season 1 of Punchh Beat; Priyank Sharma

He has won a huge fan following for  himself among the youth of the country with the youth drama Puncch Beat, where he portrayed the role of Rahat .

As he awaits season 2 of Puncch Beat, which streams on Alt Balaji from June 27, actor Priyank Sharma admits that when he made his acting debut with the season 1 of Punchh Beat last year,  he was completely raw and naïve as an actor.

In a chat ahead of launch of S 2 of the youth drama , Priyank Sharma revealed that he did not even know how to face the camera when he began work on season 1 of Punchh Beat.

"I was raw at that time, and I was completely naïve as an actor. I had no experience at all, like how to face the camera and such. Season 2, on the other hand, was again a lot of learning experience for me. However, this time I won't say that I was raw. I was a lot more trained as an actor, there in front of the camera, knowing a lot of things about how this entire thing works,' said Priyank Sharma, who made his acting  debut with the show.

The first season of  Punchh Beat was trendy and extremely successful amongst the youth, making the season 2 one of the highly awaited shows this summer. 

As the show's protagonist Rahat , Priyank Sharma became a crush of many.

On his expectations  from the second season of Punchh Beat,  Priyank Sharma, 
who has been part of several reality shows like Bigg Boss, Splitsvilla, and Roadies , said, 'Puncch Beat Season 1 was my debut as an actor, and I believe that the show is like our baby, for most of us. I have a lot of emotions attached to the project. Along with emotions, a lot of expectation is also there because season 1 worked beautifully for me as an actor."

The promos , trailer and posters of Punchh Beat 2 has generated a lot of buzz for the new season of the popular youth drama. 

Thd makers had earlier this month dropped the first look of the popular characters from the show, set in the yearbook from Rosewood High.

Four famous students from Rosewood High- Rahat, Padmini, Ranbir and Divyanka- will return this year as well. Along with them, a fresher is also set to take a ride of the Rosewoodian Roller coaster.



The trailer,  unveiled by  ALTBalaji two weeks ago,  also promises another engrossing drama with a dark twist. 


Starring Priyank Sharma, Harshita Gaur, Siddharth Sharma, Khushi Joshi and Samyukhta Hegde in primary roles Punchh Beat 2 also features Kajol Tyagi, Urfi Javed, Nikhil Bhambri, Sindhuja Turlapati, Niki Aneja Walia, Samir Soni, Rushad Rana, Kasturi Banerjee, Poppy Jabbal, Anuj Choudhry and Mrinmai Kolwalkar in prominent roles. The second season is produced by Balaji Telefilms and directed by Akshay Choubey.


The first season of the popular youth drama was released in 2019, and fans of the show have been anticipating the second season.

The ALTBalaji show centers around college, teen drama, paired with a murder mystery this year.
