The White Tiger in top position among most watched films on Netflix Brazil, We Can Be Heroes in 2nd spot

The accolades keep pouring in for Priyanka Chopra's The White Tiger, a film dealing with caste discrimination in India .

In yet another feather in the cap for Priyanka Chopra , The White Tiger is in the first position among the top ten films being streamed on Netflix Brazil.

While The Tigre Branco, the Brazilian version of The White Tiger, remains in the 1st position among the most watched films on netflix brasil , Priyanka 
Chopra 's We Can Be Heroes has risen one position.@priyankachopra now occupies with her two films the top two positions in the top 10.

Ecstatic over the response to the film in Brazil, Priyanka Chopra , responding to a tweet by a fan , said, 'Thx so much! Can’t wait to come back to Brazil when we can travel again!'

The White Tiger, which began streaming on Netflix from January 22, has received audience applause as well as critical acclaim for brilliant performances by Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao and its witty and poignant portrayal of social discrimination in modern India. 

Directed by Ramin Bahrani, The White Tiger, an adaptation of Aravind Adiga's Booker Prize-winning debut novel of the same name,  stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Adarsh Gourav, and Rajkummar Rao. 


The White Tiger has received audience applause as well as critical acclaim worldwide 



The film tells the story of poor villager Balram who ends up working as a driver, before escaping poverty against all odds.

Working as a servant to a powerful couple in India, Balram makes himself indispensable and only later realizes that his masters don't have his best interests at heart. The film explores his battle with morality and his desire to be treated with respect. 

The White Tiger showcases the economic and emotional disparity between the rich and the poor in India, while exploring the possibilities of what could happen when those who are at the bottom of the food chain stand up for themselves.
