Akshay Kumar shares his first look in Ram Setu, plays archaeologist in the film

Superstar Akshay Kumar today his first look from the much anticipated film Ram Setu.


Sharing his first look from the film, which features him in the lead role along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nusratt Bharucha, Akshay Kumar said,The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins!'


Akshay Kumar plays the role of an archaeologist in the film.

Being produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films in association with amazon Prime Video and Abundant is Entertainment, Ran Setu is being directed by Abhishek Sharma.


Chandraprakash Dwivedi is the creative producer of the film.


Akshay Kumar recently shared with cinelovers pictures of the muhurat shot of the film.


Cast and crew members of the film, including Head creative and production, Abundantia Entertainment,Shikhaa Sharma, Director and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video India, Vijay Subramaniun, Creative Producer. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Actors Jacqueline Fernandes, Akshay Kumar, and Nushrratt Bharuccha  and Founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, Vikram Malhotra, participated in the muhurat shot.

Ram Setu is an action-adventure drama that brings forward a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage. 



Earlier this month, Akshay Kumar had shared picture of creative producer Chandraprakash Dwivedi holding a story reading session of the film with the cast and the director .

Amazon Prime Video recently announced its association with the  Hindi movie  as a co-producer alongside Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment and Lyca Productions, making its foray into film production in India.

Akshay announced Ram Setu on Diwali last year. He had last year met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to seek permission for shooting of the film in various locations in the state.
