Shooting for Ram Setu begins in Ayodhya with muhurat shot

Shooting for the highly anticipated film  Ram Setu commenced in Ayodhya today with the muhurat shot at the venue.

Cast and crew members of the film, including Head creative and production, Abundantia Entertainment,Shikhaa Sharma, Director and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video India, Vijay Subramaniun, Creative Producer. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Actors Jacqueline Fernandes, Akshay Kumar, and Nushrratt Bharuccha  and Founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, Vikram Malhotra, participated in the muhurat shot.

Sharing the pictures of the muhurat shot, Jacqueline Fernandez said, 'Here we go!!! #ramsetu feeling so grateful and blessed to be a part of this film!!!

Superstar Akshay Kumar had yesterday shared a picture of himself with Jacqueline Fernandes and Nushrratt Bharuccha leaving for Ayodhya for the muhurat shot of the film.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma (Parmanu, Tere Bin Laden) and creatively produced by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi (Prithviraj Chauhan), Ram Setu is an action-adventure drama that brings forward a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage. 


Earlier this month, Akshay Kumar had shared picture of creative producer Chandraprakash Dwivedi holding a story reading session of the film with the cast and the director .

Amazon Prime Video recently announced its association with the  Hindi movie  as a co-producer alongside Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment and Lyca Productions, making its foray into film production in India.

Akshay announced Ram Setu on Diwali last year. He had last year met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to seek permission for shooting of the film in various locations in the state.
