Paresh Rawal found Covid positive, Anupam kher & Ashok Pandit wish him early recovery

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has joined the list of Bollywood celebrities who have tested positive for Covid in recent weeks.

Paresh Wawal appealed to all those who had come in contact with him in the last ten days to get themselves tested.

Taking to Twitter, Paresh Rawal said, 'Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.'

Incidentally, Paresh Rawal had been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine a few days ago.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher and filmmaker Ashok Pandit wished an early recovery to Paresh Rawal.

Paresh Rawal has joined the list of Bollywood celebrities who have been recently tested positive for Covid.

In recent weeks, celebrities like Aamir Khan, Satish Kaushik and Kartik Aryan have been found Covid positive.

The last few weeks have witnessed a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in many states in the country, especially in Maharashtra which accounts for a majority of these cases.

The sharp increase in COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra and other states like Punjab has adversely impacted the earnings of films like roohi and Mumbai Saga.

It has also put a question mark on release of mega starrers scheduled to release in cinemas in the next couple of months, including Bunty Aur Babli2, Chehre, Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan starrer Radhe.

Infact makers of the film Haathi Mere Saathi postponed the release of the Hindi version of the film in view of the worsening covid situation in Maharashtra and other North Indian states.
