Priya is the only person in The Big Bull who can tell Hemant Shah where he is going wrong: Nikita Dutta

In the upcoming web series The Big Bull, the story of a meteoric rise of Hemant Shah front a resident of a chawl to  becoming one of the most successful stock market players, it is Hemant's wife Priya who is behind his huge success.

Nikita Dutta, who plays the role of Priya in the show, which will stream on Disney Hotstar from April 8, says that her character Priya in   is a strong headed girl whomis clear about her thoughts.

'Priya is the love interest of Hemant Shah in The Big Bull whom he eventually marries. She is someone who is quite smart. She is not someone who is gullible and who is going to agree with everything. Her simplicity is her strength and her clear thoughts are his superpower!

Infact, she is perhaps the only person in the film who can tell Hemant where he is going wrong,'Nikita said ahead of the streaming of The Big Bull .

Talking about her character, Nikita said,'what I liked about Nikita is that she is quite a strong headed girl. It is one of her most attractive qualities.
The greatest thing about the character of Priya is that there was no reference that Kookie sir (Kookie Gulati) gave me. It gives you the freedom to do the role as you perceive it. '

Nikita said that for the role of Nikita, she had to master a Gujarat accent.

Directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak, The Big Bull stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead with Nikita Dutta, Ileana D'Cruz, Soham Shah, Sumit Vats, Ram Kapoor and Lekha Prajapati  in supporting roles.

The Big Bull, takes viewers through the journey of the protagonist Hemant Shah from the resident of a small chawl to becoming a famous stockbroker .

The promos and the trailer of the web series have left the fans of Abhishek Bachchan excited as the film reminds them of the role played by Abhishek Bachchan in Mani Rathnam's Guru, in which he played the character of Dhirubhai Ambani.

The release of the film was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the makers later decided to release it on Disney+Hotstar.
