We're like one of those old Italian families when we sit for dining: Kareena on Kapoor family's love for food

Being from the famous Kapoor family, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has but naturally inherited her family's famous craving for food.

The Bollywood diva has revealed that during her pregnancy she had a craving for Pizzas and Pastas. 

Speaking on the upcoming celebrity cooking show ‘Star Vs Food', that will premiere tomorrow on Discovery + streaming platform with an episode featuring the Bollywood diva, Kareena also revealed that the Kapoor Khandaan was like one of those Italian families when they sit on a dinner table. 

During the episode, which saw Kareena Kapoor Khan try her hand at whipping up a made-from-scratch gourmet Pizza for a few of her closest friends under the watchful mentorship of celebrated chef, Sarita Pereira of  The  Lovefools,  Kareena Kapoor Khan spilled the beans  about  Kapoor  Khandan's love for food,  lockdown, and her pregnancy.

In a conversation with the Chef Sarita , Kareena Kapoor, talking about her love for Italian food and her food cravings during her pregnancy, said, ' basically like through the pregnancy, I had, it was just like a constant craving of wanting Pizzas and Pastas. It was just weird throughout, both my boys." 

Talking about the Kapoor family's passion for food, said, "Every time we sit at a table, I feel like we are one of those old Italian family, we are screaming, Koi Kha Raha Hai, we are eating, drinking, laughing because food is something that should bring joy to you."  

Speaking about whether or not she cooked during the lockdown, she said  , "I think during the lockdown, everyone was kind of making banana bread. I didn't make banana bread, but Saif was really experimenting with a lot of food." 

She revealed that her husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur had a great time last year with baking dishes at home.

While talking about who oversees the kitchen at her house, she said, "Taimur and Saif love it; they love being in the kitchen and I am kind of the in charge of the music. They like to listen to nice Jazz music." 

During the show, Kareena Kapoor Khan , getting in a candid conversation with her friends Tanya, Shibani and Anshuka about the three things she takes to her bed with a very quirky answer, said, "A Wine Bottle, Pajamas and Saif Ali Khan."

Kareena Kapoor Khan will  appear on the celebrity cooking show, which premieres on Discovery plus tomorrow 

Under the watchful mentorship of celebrated chef, Sarita Pereira,  Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen trying her hand at whipping up a made-from-scratch gourmet Pizza for a few of her closest friends while getting candid about her love for food and dishing out little-known details about her life.  

On the overall result of her stint in the kitchen, she said, “I think I have done a pretty good job, like I actually made this from scratch. Of course, with her guidance but it is tasting amazing.” 

The celebrity cooking show ‘Star Vs Food’ is all set to premiere on the  streaming platform tomorrow. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to her second baby boy on February 21 this year. 

Recently,  Kareena was spotted at the gym, as she prepped up to get back in shape.
