First look poster of City of Dreams 2 unveiled, Priya Bapat to reprise role of Poornima Gaikwad from S 1

After an intriguing political power play in season 1 of City of Dreams on Disney Hotstar in 2019, makers of the show Applause entertainment are set to release season 2 of the web series soon.

Applause entertainment today unveiled the first look poster of the web series.

The poster features the female lead of the show Priya Bapat.

First look poster of City of Dreams season 2 unveiled 


Season 2 of the show will see Priya Bapat reprise her role as Poornima Rao Gaikwad from season 1. 

Season 1 of City of Dreams, conceptualized by Nagesh Kukunoor and directed by him, kept viewers hooked with its intriguing political power play.

Streamed from May in 2019, season 1 of the web series starred Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Eijaz Khan and Siddharth Chandekar in key roles.

City of Dreams is the story of the feud within the Gaikwad family, which erupts after an assassination attempt on a head of the family Amey Rao Gaikwad, a political figure. A struggle for power,blurring the lines between moral and immoral, formed the core of narrative of the show.

The series featured Priya Bapat as Poornima Rao Gaikwad, daughter of Amey Rao Gaikwad, who considers herself as the worthy successor of Amey Rao Gaikwad.

Season 2 of the show will see Priya Bapat reprise her role as Poornima Rao Gaikwad from season 1.
