Trailer of Feels Like Ishq brings out feeling of love catching strangers unawares during chance encounter

That feeling of being drawn towards a stranger you happen to meet in unforeseen circumstances - violins playing and a cool breeze blowing in the background - and sweet sensation of love catching you unawares is something many of us have experienced during our teenage years .

The cute feeling of 'love-at-first-sight' between two strangers  forms the theme of the new anthology Feels Like Ishq,  which is set to premiere on Netflix on July 23.

The trailer of Feels Like Ishq,  released by Netflix today, gives us a sneak peek into six cute stories of strangers meeting in unforeseen circumstances and finding themselves drawn towards each other.

The trailer takes viewers through the awkward first impressions and bitter sweet encounters of the youngsters, that metamorphose into love and attraction .

Releasing on the streaming platform on July 23 , Feels Like Ishq comprises meet-cute stories from directors Ruchir Arun, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Anand Tiwari, Danish Aslam, Jaydeep Sarkar, Sachin Kundalkar.

It will feature an ensemble cast that  includes popular actors like  Radhika Madan, Amol Parashar, Neeraj Madhav, Tanya Maniktala, Kajol Chug, Mihir Ahuja, Simran Jehani, Rohit Saraf, Saba Azad, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Zayn Khan and Skand Thakur.

Devrath Sagar is  the creative director of Feel Like Ishq, which has been produced by Mutant Films and Awesomeness TV.

Executive producers of the series are Seher Aly Latif, Shivani Saran of Mutant Films and Shelley Zimmerman, Brin Lukens and Jennifer Vasquez of Awesomeness TV.

Netflix had yesterday shared the first look poster of the anthology.

The announcement of the anthology comes close on heels of the success of  Ray, an anthology  based on master filmmaker Satyajit Ray's four stories, which began streaming on Netflix from June 25.

The anthology has received plaudits from audiences as well as critics for its satirical look at human frailities and vulnerabilities as well as far the brilliant performances by Manoj Bajpayee,  Gajraj Rao,  Ali Fazal and  Kay Kay Menon

Netflix had last year released an anthology of short stories by Rabindranath Tagore.

Titled Stories by Rabindranath Tagore, the television series was directed by Anurag Basu.
