Anjjan Srivastava appeals to people to adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour, get themselves vaccinated

Television and film actor Anjjan Srivastava, who has impressed entertainment lovers with his performance in several films and television shows, has appealed to people to continue to adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour notwithstanding an easing of Covid restrictions after a dip in Covid cases.


Anjjan Srivastava, who recently returned to the sets of the popular sitcom Wagle Ki Duniya after a brief hiatus in shooting due to the lockdown in Maharashtra necessitated by an unprecedented surge in Covid cases during the second wave, also urged his fans to get themselves vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves from Covid.

 "Our fight against the current situation is going on, and we need to continue to take all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of ourselves and our families. I request all my fans to get vaccinated as soon as possible and moreover continue to take basic hygiene measures and not become complacent,'Anjjan Srivastava said in a chat after his to sets of Wagle Ki Duniya, being telecast on Sab TV.


Aanjjan Srivastav, who essays the role of Srinivas Wagle in the show, said that he is extremely excited to return to sets of Wagle Ki Duniya.


 "I have been working in the entertainment industry for almost 50 years, and my journey so far has been splendid. Every show or movie I have done holds a very special place in my heart. I have already spoken enough on how much what Wagle Ki Duniya means to me and coming back on the sets after this brief hiatus is extremely exciting and a satisfying experience for me, Anjjan Srivastava said.


'Through the show and its storyline, we have always aimed to depict the journey of a common man, which is one reason why the show has touched the hearts of our audience. I am thrilled to be back on the sets and work closely with the entire cast and crew in our endeavour to continue bringing these heartfelt stories.


I can't wait to hear all the smiles and giggles on the set. Besides Bharti, Sumeet and Pariva, I have also developed a great bond with the kids as well, and I am happy that I am finally getting a chance to shoot with this amazing team, on and off the screen,,'he added.

A comedy show based on characters created by noted cartoonist, R. K. Laxman, Wagle Ki Duniya deals with the issues faced by middle-class in India.

It stars Sumeet Raghavan,Pariva Pranati , Anjjan Srivastava , Bharati Achrekar and Chinmayee Salvi in key roles.

 The show has won several plaudits for its relatable storyline and relatable characters played by some of the most loved artists that brings out the endearing bond between families. With the return of Anjjan Srivastav aka Srinivas Wagle back on the show.
