Mimi to release on Jio cinema & Netflix on July 30

Ending the suspense on release of the quirky comedy Mimi, the makers of the film today announced that the film will release on Jio cinemas and Netflix on 
July 30.

The Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan production  will stream on Jio Cinema and Netflix from July 30.

A Maddock Films Original, the movie  features Kriti Sanon in the lead role with  Pankaj Tripathi and the supremely talented Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles.

The trailer of the film will be released on July 13.

Quirky comedy Mimi to release on Jio cinema and Netflix on July 30




Directed by Laxman Utekar, written by Rohan Shankar and produced by Dinesh Vijan ,under his banner Maddock Films,  in  association with Jio Studios,  Mimi is loosely based on the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy.

Mimi  stars Kriti Sanon as a surrogate mother whose life charges when she agrees to become a surrogate mother.

The film was supposed to  release theatrically in mid-2020.

 However, post-production delays due to COVID-19 pandemic caused several postponements in its release date.

With the continuing uncertainty on reopening of theatres,  the makers have now decided to release the film on OTT.

Makers of the film Maddock films yesterday unveiled a quirky first look of the film.

The first look of the film featured Kriti Sanon in a cutely confused expression with a wacky tagline, whetting the curiosity of film lovers about the film.
