Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli launch campaign to raise funds for Covid relief

Joining in the efforts by people from various walks of life to provide relief to people amid the grave Covid situation facing the country, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and her husband and Indian cricket captain Virat Kihli today initiated a campaign to raise funds for Covid relief.
In a video message, Anushka and Virat announced launch of a campaign 'In This Together ' with Ketto to raise funds for Covid relief and appealed to people to contribute in this fundraiser.
'As our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems are facing extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffering. So, Virat and I have initiated a campaign #InThisTogether, with Ketto, to raise funds for Covid-19 relief.

Virat and Anushka have joined the list of celebrities who have come forward to make contributions towards providing relief to the people across the country amid the unprecedented surge in covid cases in India in recent weeks.
Bollywood celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Alia bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Manjari Fadnis, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ajay Devgn have been making efforts to provide relief to covid hit people by providing oxygen cylinders to hospitals and sharing information about vaccination centres, hospital beds and oxygen generation plants .
Jacqueline Fernandez had on Tuesday announced launch of Yolo Foundation to spread kindness during the ongoing crisis. Yolo Foundation that has partnered with several NGOs to provide help to people hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra last week started a fundraiser to help build infrastructure to fight Covid in India to provide relief for lakhs of people affected by the virus infection.
In a video appeal issued on social media, Priyanka Chopra sought donations from people for covid relief. She said that the donations will go directly into providing Healthcare physical infrastructure (including covid care centres, isolation centres and oxygen generation plants), medical equipment and medicine support and mobilization.

Recently, actor Aansh Arora provided 1000 oxygen BPC flow meter cylinder kits to the needy people in Delhi and Gurgaon.
Doing his bit to provide succor to people hit by the Covid-19 second wave, Aansh Arora has been providing oxygen cylinders and others medical equipments.
