Makers of Bell Bottom scotch speculation of OTT release of film

Makers of the Akshay Kumar Vaani Kapoor starrer Bell Bottom today scorched speculation of the release of the film on OTT.

In a statement issued here, Pooja entertainment of Vashu Bhagnani said that the announcement of the release of the film will be made at the right time.

'Pooja entertainment would like to quash speculation in some sections of the media regarding the release of the upcoming film Bell Bottom.

Any announcement regarding the release of the film will be made by Pooja Entertainment at an opportune time. Nobody other than Pooja entertainment has the mandate to make any statements with regards to any development about the film. We would like the media to support us like you always have and refrain from publishing any information that has not been officially communicated by us.

Pooja entertainment quash speculation of OTT release of film 



The clarification by Pooja Entertainment comes amid reports that the film will be released on Disney Hotstar.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment, Bell Bottom stars Akshay Kumar in the lead with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in other prominent roles.

The film is one of the most awaited films thus year.

The sharp spurt in COVID-19 cases in the country in recent weeks has led to postponement of release of mega starrers Haathi Mere Saathi, Bunty Aur Babli2,  Chehre, Sooryavanshi and Satyamev Jayate 2.

It has also put a question mark on release of films like Bell Bottom,  83 and others.


The last few weeks have seen a sharp spurt in COVID-19 cases in many states in the country, including Maharashtra and Punjab.

The country recorded over 3 lakh cases of COVID during the last 24 hours,.


The present situation has adversely impacted the earnings of recently released Bollywood films Roohi, Mumbai Saga, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Saina.
