Film highlighting pain & suffering of Kashmiris due to conflict between India,Pak streams on Voot Select

After the web series Dhoop Ki Deewar that focused on the feeling of loss and grief binding people from India and Pakistan,  a new film Lines, that seeks to highlight the pain and suffering experienced by people of Kashmir due to the long running conflict between the neighboring countries,  is streaming on Voot Select from today.

Lines, an emotional drama that shows how the long running conflict between India and Pakistan  separated two lovers living on border areas drmarcaing  the two countries , is streaming on Voot Select now.

Directed by Hussein Khan and written by Rahat Kazmi, Lines is the innocent and gritty story of Nabeel and a young girl Naziya representing the pains of love birds on either side of the border of Kashmir who have been the suffers of hatred between two countries.




Lines,  a film which highlights the pain and suffering of Kashmiris due to conflict between India and Pakistan,  streaming on Voot Select 




Lines features Hina Khan in the lead role of Naziya, an Indian Muslim girl who falls in love with a Pakistani boy(Rishi Bhutani) . It is the story of how national borders come in the way of the love between the couple.

 Lines  is yet another in the series of recent films lamenting the futility of the long running conflict between the two neighbouring countries.

Besides Hina Khan,  the film features Rishi Bhutani as Naziya's lover Nabeel.

It also  features Farida Jalal,, Rahat Kazmi and Ahmer Haider in key roles.

Last year, Hina Khan had shared the first look of her film, which was released at the Cannes film festival.

Director Hussain Khan said that he is excited about the premiere of the film on Voot Select.

'LINES has released today on Voot Select. As a director of the film it gives me a great satisfaction to see my product getting released on a big platform.I would like to thank the whole team of the film especially Rahat Kazmi who believed in me to be the captain of the ship,'he said.

Talking about her character Naziya. , Hina Khan says,'“Emotions don’t change because of the borders in between. The life and plight of Nazia is a simple portrayal of any girl who faces the magnitude of ordinary challenges in a not so ordinary story.'

Lines was to mark Hina Khan 's debut in films. However,  the release of the film was later postponed,  making Bollywood film Hacked as her debut.
