Rivalry b/w Raahat & Ranbir,engrossing mystery, breathtaking visuals make Puncch Beat2 a must watch

The second season of the youth drama Puncch Beat is grabbing eyeballs with its intense rivalry  between Raahat and Ranbir, the dark twist in form of a murder mystery and the nostalgic trip of school life on which it takes the viewers.

Puncch Beat 2, which premiered on Alt Balaji last week, has already made it to the coveted list of Top 10 Movies and Shows on Indian OTT this week by a credible portal.

Puncch Beat 2 grabbed the 8th spot in the list of top 10 shows in a survey by the portal .

What makes this a huge accomplishment is that the other shows on the list comprise Netflix's insanely popular Too Hot To Handle 2 and Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Both the shows grab the fourth and fifth spot, respectively. The first slot is taken by Ray, an anthology based on Satyajit Ray's works.

What has contributed to popularity of the S 2 of the youth drama is the intense rivalry between the two protagonists Rahat and Ranbir,  the dark twist in the  form of a  murder mystery and the sweet nostalgic trip of school life on which  the show takes the viewers.

One of the highlights of the show is the intense rivalry between Rahat and Ranbir which keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Rahat and Ranbir's rivalry started in the first season on a juvenile note. However, in the second season, it isn't just about a trophy or title. The fight between the two is more than just the championship trophy.

Priyank Sharma and Siddharth Sharma give a compelling performance packed with punches and action. And the second season is entirely based on their contention and friction.

Directed by Akshay Choubey, Puncch Beat 2 takes us to the scenic locales of Dehradun, and it takes us to the valleys and the high mountains. The cinematography by Shanu Singh Rajput, and his highly efficient team of DOP, is commendable. They keep you tuned to the characters and the screenplay all the time. One can't undermine Rahu Kurup and Prem Kumar's production design. The richness of a high-class family, the exoticness of the venue, and at the same time, the passive experience that they create during the training sessions and in the boxing ring need an ovation.

Right from Samyuktha Hegde to Anuj Choudhry, the fresh cast members of the show bring novelty in the second season.  Urfi Javed, Pobby Jabbal, Mrinmai Kolwalkar add freshness in the season. However,  out of the new lot, Anuj impresses the most.

The first season of the ALTBalaji's show was  highly popular and was a huge success amongst the youth. The show is currently receiving rave reviews for its terrific season two.

And it won't be wrong to say that the young crowd is going gaga over the show. Puncch Beat 2 has all the elements to become what is a sure-shot blockbuster. It has music, mystery and a lot of masalas.

The show brings back popular characters from its debut season. The brooding rivalry between Rahat and Ranbir played by Priyank Sharma and Siddharth Sharma, will witness its peak and probably a conclusion. Then there are changing dynamics between the other batchmates in Rosewood High after last year’s events that take centre stage in the second season.
