A hero is only as big as the villain he conquers: Gul Khan about the new threat in Aashiqana S 2

As the season 2 of romantic thriller Aashiqana keeps viewers engaged with double the romance and triple the action compared to the previous season, it's director Gul Khan talked about the unconventional antagonist in the new season.
Stressing that Crafting a villain for a story is as important as creating the hero, Gul Khan said that season 2 of Aashiqana will bring a generational shift in the league of villains one has witnessed so far.
'I believe that crafting a villain for a story is as important as creating your hero. A hero is only as big as the villain he conquers. In Aashiqana Season 2, we wanted to explore an invisible threat and the powers that are wielding it for their gains.
It will see Yash and Chikki fight a new battle which challenges them mentally and physically and will put to the test their love towards each other. Deciding on bio-warfare as the new threat felt like bringing a generational shift in the league of villains we have seen so far.” she said.

After winning many hearts for its gripping action, drama and fan-favourite actors - Zayn Ibad Khan and Khushi Dubey, the new season, which released on Disney Hotstar on October 10, will bring before viewers a brand new chapter of Chikki and Yash's romance.
The new chapter will also see celebrated actor Karanvir Bohra take on an all-new avatar that will become a new obstacle in Yash and Chikki’s life.
