Working in Hindi adaptation of Turkish series 1001 Nights is exciting: Aditi Sharma

She is currently grabbing eyeballs as the middle class  girl Katha in the television show Katha Ankahee who leaves no stone unturned to collect funds for the treatment of her son Aarav, suffering from Cancer.

Aditi, who earlier caught attention as Ganga Shukla in &TV’s  Ganga and Mauli in  Colors TV’S Silsila badalte Rishton Ka , is excited to do a show like Katha Ankahee, a Hindi remake of the globally  acclaimed Turkish series 1001 Nights (Binbir Gece).

In Katha Ankahee,  Aditi Sharma plays a strong girl with a never say die spirit who takes on the problems  confronting her head on.

'Katha is a strong woman who knows what she wants to do in her life. She is a high spirited person who believes in living life to the fullest, 'Aditi Sharma said in a chat.

Ever since its launch last month,  Katha Ankahee has grabbed attention of viewers with its relatable situations and emotions that tug at your heartstrings.

Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan have evoked praise for their performances as Katha and Viaan who are shown in a complex relationship.

For Aditi,  working in a show that has been adapted from the Globally acclaimed Turkish Show, 1001 Nights (Binbir Gece), is exciting.

'Working in the Hindi adaptation of the globally acclaimed Turkish series is exciting. Makers of this show have worked hard to indianise the show,'the actress said.

Though Aditi Sharma,  who rose to limelight with the reality show Cinestars Ki Khoj, started her career as an actor in films , making her presence felt in films like Khanna and Iyer, Black and white and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, she subsequently made her mark on television with shows like & TV’s Ganga and Colour TV’s Silsila badalte Rishton Ka .

Aditi Sharma says that working on television allows her an opportunity to play different parts,, which is something that she craves as an actor.

'As an actor I crave to do different parts which television gives me an opportunity to do,''she said.

A Hindi remake of Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights,  popularly known as Arabian Nights, Katha  Ankahee   premiered on Sony TV on December 5..

Produced by Sunjoy Waddhwa and Commal Waddhwa under the banner of Sphere Origins,  Katha Ankahee is a love story revolving around an unforgettable wound that creates a rift between Katha and Viaan,  yet keeping them bound.

Being aired from Monday to Friday at 8: 30 pm, Katha Ankahee, which stars Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan in lead roles, brings out the complicated relationship between Katha and Viaan and their emotional turmoil and dilemma.

Aditi Sharma, is portraying the role of Katha while Adnan Khan is  essaying the role of Viaan.

Katha Ankahee stars Sheen Dass and Samar Vermani in pivotal roles.

It is the latest in the line of thought provoking shows by Sony Entertainment Television after the medical drama Dhadkan Zindagi Kii and the mature love story Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
