Nepalese artists arrive in Delhi for promotion of the film

In an initiative to foster greater Cooperation between India and Nepal in the field of culture,  the latest Indo Nepal film Co production Parastri is set to hit theatres in both the countries this week.

'Parastri', set against the backdrop of intricacies of human relationships, problems arising out of extra-marital affairs, deception in love and lust, will release in cinemas in India and Nepal on June 30.

An exotic thriller, Parastri, which is set to release in several parts of the world besides India and Nepal,  will be released in both Hindi and Nepali languages.

Many artists and technicians from both the countries have worked in this film.

Parastri stars Shilpa Mashkey, Koshish Chhetri and Gaurav Bisht in pivotal roles.

Produced by Sharmila Pandey and Pushparaj T. Neopane, Parastri has been  produced under the banner of DS Digital and Nandi Creations. The writer of this film is Dipendra K. The channel and the film have been directed by Suraj Pandey.

Music of the film, which has been presented by B4U, has been composed by KK Brothers  while the songs have been sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Amit Mishra and Sonal Pradhan.

The lead role in Parastri is being played by Shilpa Mashke, who has earlier worked in Mission Impossible.

During a visit to Delhi to promote the film, Nepali actress Shilpa Maske said that she is thrilled about working in an Indo Nepalese film Co production.

''I am very happy that Parastri is going to be released simultaneously in both Hindi and Nepali languages. I am sure that Nepali audience as well as Indian audience will like this film very much,''Shilpa said.

Speaking to the media,  Nepali actor Gaurav Bisht said, "It is a matter of pride for me to work in this film. The audience of both the countries will get to see a film made on a different subject, in which there are elements of mystery and adventure."

Talking about the film,  it's director  Suraj Pandey, who has directed several films in Nepal, said that good quality films are made in Nepal on various subjects and Parastri is a great example of that.

''This film will keep people's interest alive  till the end and will make them think on many levels,'Pandey said.

Producer of the film Sharmila Pandey, an established filmmaker in Nepal, said that Parastri  will start a new cycle of exchange of art and entertainment between the two countries.

"The film Parastri, a co-production between India and Nepal, will start a new cycle of exchange of art and entertainment between the two countries. We should continuously make films with the cooperation of India-Nepal so that the relations between the two countries become even more intense,'she said.

Parastri' will be released in more than 500 theaters around the world. Preparations are being made to release this film in 350 theaters across the country.
