Team Adipurush to revamp dialogues of film in deference of public opinion

In response to criticism in many sections of the public to the dialogues of the film, makers of the period epic Adipurush have decided to make alterations in the  dialogues.

Sources close to the makers of the film say that in deference to the opinion of  the public  and  the  audience, the team of Adipurush has decided to make alterations to the film's  dialogues.

The decision has been  made  to help make the film a memorable cinematic  experience.

The makers are revisiting the said dialogues, to ensure that they resonate with core essence of the film and the same will reflect in the theaters in the next few days.

The decision to revamp the dialogues of the film comes even as Adipurush has garnered an overwhelming response from audiences in India as well as across the globe.

Trade sources said that Adipurush has earned gross collections  of  Rs 140 cr worldwide on its opening day.

The Hindi version of the film alone has earned Rs 37 cr in India on the opening day

While the film has been earning acclaim for its brilliant VFX and visual effects,  it has been criticized for its dialogues which many feel are not in keeping with the essence of Epic classic Ramayana.

The dialogues of the film have been penned by writer lyricist Manoj Muntassir.

Adipurush has been directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations .

Director Om Raut's depiction of Ramayana,  the greatest epic in Indian history and culture, had its World premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film festival,  to be held in New York from June 7 to 18.
