Bheed now streaming on Netflix

After getting critical acclaim for its poignant portrayal of the 2020 Covid lockdown impacting lives of migrant workers across the country,  Anubhav Sinha's Bheed is now streaming on Netflix.

A fictional black and white drama on events during the 2020 Covid lockdown , Bheed is currently streaming on Netflix.

Written,  directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha, Bheed is a fictitious account of the largest migration in Indian history (since the 1947 partition) during the Covid  Lockdown in 2020. It tells the story of how several characters deal with the lockdown and migrate to a safe place.

Bheed stars Rajkumar Rao in the lead role with Bhumi Pednekar,  Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza and Kritika Kamra starring in pivotal roles.

Bheed, which released in cinemas on March 24, got positive reviews from critics. Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur specially came in for praise first his performance in the film.

However,  it got a lukewarm response at the box office,  earning just Rs 3.33 cr during its theatrical run.
