Trailer of Mumbai Diaries promises gripping tale of grit, courage and survival during 26/11 Mumbai attacks

It was a deadly night that shook all of Mumbai to its core.

The all encompassing image of 26/11 Mumbai attacks may be of  blazing guns of terrorists inflicting a sense of terror through the residents of the City of Dreams, but that fateful night also witnessed unraveling of a story of grit, courage and survival amid the mayhem and bloodshed.

Beneath the  blazing guns of terrorists and the bloodshed lies an untold story of the men and women in White in the metropolitan city who stood against all odds to save lives during the attack.

The untold story of the frontline workers who toiled all night to save lives of those injured during the 26/11 attack forms the subject of the new web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 
September 9.

Trailer of Mumbai Diaries 26/11, unveiled by Amazon Prime video last evening,  gives viewers a peek into the gripping tale of grit and courage of these men and women in White who worked selflessly during the night of the 26/11 attacks to save lives.

A fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama set against the backdrop of the unforgettable night that also united the city., Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is an account of events that unfold in the Emergency Room of a government hospital, while exploring the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital as well as other first responders across the city of Mumbai in dealing with a crisis of immense magnitude.

The trailer gives viewers a peek into the tireless efforts by doctors and medical warriors to save lives amid an atmosphere of fear prevailing in the city during that horrific night of November 26, 2008.

Ìt shows that for these men and women in White,  the foremost priority was to save lives irrespective of whether the injured person was a perpetratpr of terrorist activities or a victim of the terrorist attack.

Created by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Emmay Entertainment, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a fictional drama that pays tribute to the frontline workers set against the backdrop of the 26/11 terror attacks

 The  medical drama, which  is  directed  by  Nikkhil  Advani  along  with  Nikhil Gonsalves, stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will launch on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2021, across 240+ countries and territories.
