A multitude of beautiful memories associated with Wagle Ki Duniya; Shehaan Kapahi

He has won the hearts of viewers as the cute and adorable  Atharva in the slice of life comedy show Wagle Ki Duniya,  being aired on Sab TV.

As Wagle Ki Duniya completes one year of its run, a multitude of beautiful memories come pouring in for child actor Shehaan Kapahi .

Reminiscing some of the fond memories, Shehaan Kapahi said,  "there are a multitude of beautiful memories  attached to Wagle Ki Duniya-whether it’s playing different roles, learning, and acting with my seniors and directors or the parties we had in Silvassa.'

Among the various tracks of Wagle Ki Duniya,  one that is extremely close to Shehaan Kapahi's heart  is the episode during which his character Atharva  was kidnapped.

'The kidnapping track is  very close to my heart, and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the episodes,'he said.

For Shehaan, shooting for Wagle Ki Duniya has been like living with his family.

' I think the only phrase that can describe my bond with the Wagle Parivaar is — Friends like Family. I can’t believe it’s been a year since this show started. It seems like yesterday I was getting dressed for the first day of the shoot,'he said.

Thanking viewers for all the support and love showered on his character in Wagle Ki Duniya,  Shehaan Kapahi said, 'thank you all for being with us on this journey.  It wouldn’t have been possible without all the love, support and appreciation given by all of you. Please continue to be with us in this incredible journey.”

The slice of life comedy show Wagle Ki Duniya ,  which showcases the life of the common man and the middle class, highlighting the various issues and problems experienced by them in their day to day life, recently completed one year of its run on Sab TV.

Launched as a modern-day rendition of the 80’s sitcom created by RK Laxman, Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya Nayi Peedhi Naye Kisse, which  features  Sumeet Raghavan,  Pariva Pranati, Bharati Achrekar,  Aanjjan Srivastav,  Chinmayee Salvi and Shaheen Kapahi in key roles,  has  managed to strike a chord with the viewers right from day one, stirring emotions and values of the quintessential Indian middle class.

The characters of the show- from the sensible duo Rajesh – Vandana and the endearing Senior Wagles to a vibrant Sakhi and a naughty Atharva - have made the audiences  laugh with them, cry with them and experience their pain, as they steered into our living rooms and eventually our hearts over the last one year.

And through this journey, the show encapsulated some moments and topical issues that made us laugh, learn and reflect, all at once.
