For me, normal is boring: John Abraham

After impressing viewers as a robocop in the Sci fi thriller Attack, Bollywood hunk John Abraham is back with another grey character in the dark thriller Ek Villain Returns.
Ahead of the release of Ek Villain Returns, a sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villain, on July 29, John Abraham, who has earlier played several Grey characters in films like Aitbaar, Race 3, Shootout At Wadala and Zinda, said that he enjoys playing such characters.

" I have played many grey shades in my previous movies. For me, normal is boring. When I saw the movie, I really enjoyed it even though I was a part of it,'John said during a promotional visit for the film to Delhi.
Speaking about the film, John said that the film is filled with interesting twists and turns in that all actors of the film have played characters of a different shade than played by them before.
'All four of us in the film- Tara Sutaria, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and myself- have played a different shade and with so many twists and turns, 'John Abraham said.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and T series, Ek Villain Returns is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villain.
Directed by Mohit Suri, who also directed the original, Ek Villain Returns stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria..
Present during the promotional visit to Delhi were the star cast of the film along with producers Bhushan Kumar and Ekta Kapoor and director Mohit Suri.
Addressing the media, Arjun Kapoor said that it has been one of his most challenging roles till date.
" It has been one of the most challenging roles I have played till now,'he said.
Speaking about his character in the film, Arjun, who was last seen in the film Bhoot Police, said, 'My character in the movie is an extreme version of grey character. He wants to be hated by the people. I really enjoyed doing the role."
Ek Villain Returns releases in cinemas on July 29.
