The inspiring tale of two visionary men who sowed seeds of India’s space and nuclear programme is back with its second season.
Second season of Rocket Boys, an inspiring story of two men which sowed seeds of India’s space and nuclear programme, is set to premiere on Sony Liv next week.

Rocket Boys is a web series based on life of legendary Indian scientists Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, who envisioned india's space and nuclear programme.
The first season of the series premiered on Sony Liv in February last year.
The opening season, which charts India’s journey from 40s to 60s when scientists and industrialists played a major role in economic development of India in its incipient years post independence.
The first season won acclaim from audiences and critics for its story and performances.
It won eight awards at the Filmfare OTT awards, including the Best actor award for Jim Sarbh, who played the role.the of Homi Bhabha.
The series, conceived by Nikhil Advani featured Ishwak Singh as Dr Vikram Sarabhai , Regina Cassandra in the role of Mrinalini Sarabhai, Saba Azad in the role of Parvana Irani and Rajit Kapoor as former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
The story of Rocket Boys 2 primarily deals with incidents before and after India’s firs nuclear test that the country carried out under the prime Ministership of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Sony Liv earlier this week released the trailer of the new season.
