Comedy Kanjoos Makhichoos premieres on Zee5 on March 24

After an interesting social drama of a woman spreading awareness about use of condoms in Chattriwaali, Zee5 brings for viewers a Comedy Kanjoos Makhichoos,  which premieres on the platform next week.

Directed by Vipul Mehta and produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment along with ThunderSky Entertainment, the film, based on the famous Gujarati play Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo, premieres on Zee5 on March 24.

Kanjoos Makhichoos is a black comedy about a miserly person Jamnaprasad Pandey who saves his money to send his parents on a pilgrimage.  Unfortunately,  however,  he loses his parents in a flood. Jamnaprasad is distraught when he learns that he will get only half the amount promised by the government as compensation due to middlemen and corruption.

The film is the story of hilarious twists and turns as he fights to get his rightful compensation from the government.

Shot in  Rishikesh and Lucknow, Kanjoos Makhichoos has been  directed by Vipul Mehta who is known for his famous Gujarati movie Chaal Jeevi Laiye.

The film  has been produced by Deepak Mukut, Srishti Sharma and Kushagra Sharma under the banner of ThunderSky Entertainment and Soham Rockstar Entertainment.
