He has impressed audiences over the years in a wide variety of roles in Bollywood as well as Telugu and Tamil films .

Abhimanyu Singh, who has made a mark for himself as a character actor in Bollywood as well as South Indian cinema,  says that every character that he plays is an opportunity for him to hone his skills as an actor.

After playing pivotal roles in Selfee and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,  Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in an important role in the crime thriller Aazam, which released in cinemas on May 19.

In Delhi for the promotion of his latest film,  Abhimanyu Singh said, “It is very important for me to keep refining my craft as an actor. The journey continues even today.

Every character I play is an opportunity for me to further refine my skills as an actor. '

Directed by Shravan Tiwari and produced by Altair media and BMX Motion Pictures,  Aazam , set in the underbelly of the Mumbai underworld,  deals with the succession battle of mafia don Nawab Khan (Raza Murad) , who is suffering from blood cancer and has only a few days to survive.

Nawab Khan rules the city with the help of a syndicate of 5 partners.  Nawab's son Kader(Abhimanyu Singh) is the legitimate heir in his business. On the advice of his friend Javed(Jimmy Shergill) , Kader conspires to eliminate his father's associates

Kader's plan fails as the members of the syndicate have their own agenda.

Abhimanyu Singh, who plays the pivotal role of Kader in Aazam,  said that for him every role is an opportunity to hone his skill.

'There is a golden opportunity. I believe that for me the commercial success of the film is not my only achievement, but it is very important for me to play every character in a good way,'he said.

The movie also features Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergill in a crucial role.

Infact, the movie will feature Jimmy Shergill in a new and unseen style.

Jimmy Shergill, who plays the role of an associate of Underworld Don, has impressed with his style in the film Aazam , which exposes the layers of Mumbai's crime world.

Talking about his character in the film,  Jimmy Shergill said that he enjoyed playing the character of Javed.,'

"In the film, I am playing the role of Javed, who is closest to the most powerful don of the city, Nawab Khan. I had a lot of fun projecting the mindset and mood of this character on screen,'he said.

The trailer of the movie Aazam has been making headlines ever since its release. Aazam's trailer, a story of one night in Mumbai's underworld, has been viewed by more than two million people on YouTube.

Apart from Jimmy Shergill and Abhimanyu Singh , Aazam also stars Indraneil Sengupta in an important roles.

Aazam' will also feature Vivek Ghamande, Govind Namdev, Raza Murad, Sayaji Rao Shinde, Ali Khan, Anang Desai, Shishir Sharma, Sanjeev Tyagi and Mushtaq Khan in strong roles.

Aazam' exposes the dark side of the Mumbai underworld and dives deep into the underworld to show the ruthless faces of the mafia.

'Aazam' is set against the backdrop of a succession war left behind by Nawab Khan, a mafia don who controls the city through his five henchmen and instills fear among the people.
