Crime drama Bhakshak premieres Netflix February 9

Continuing the trend of crime dramas on the digital screen, a new crime drama based on real life incident of crime against women is set to be aired on Netflix digital platform soon.

Bhakshak,  the true story of a heinous crime against women,  will be streamed on Netflix next month.

Produced by Shahrukh Khan's  Red Chillies Entertainment , Bhakshak,  to be streamed on Netflix from February 9,resolves around the journey of an unwavering woman's quest to seek justice and her perseverance in getting a heinous crime to light.

Directed by Pulkit and Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma,  Bhakshak stars Bhumi Pednekar in the role of an investigative journalist Vaishali Singh who wants to bring to light a heinous crime against women.

Besides Bhumi Pednekar,  Bhakshak stars Sanjay Mishra and Sai Tamhankar in pivotal roles.

Bhakshak is based on the Muzaffarnagar Shelter Home rape case.

It is the latest in the line of crime dramas on the digital screen.

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in the urban comedy Thank You For Coming,  released in cinemas recently.
