Espionage, crime, psychological and political thrillers, love stories and motivational stories ruled the popularity charts in the week ending June 24.
According to Ormax media, the top ten OTT Originals for the week between June 18 to 24, based on audience buzz,include the espionage thriller The Family Man 2, Sherni , a film on man animal conflict ; crime thriller Sunflower; political thrillers Maharani and Tandav, love story Broken But Beautiful 3, psychological thriller Ray and motivational series Aspirants.

The Family Man 2 on Amazon Prime Video
Espionage thriller The Family Man 2 is the number one OTT original in the top ten list .
Amazon Prime Video's latest hit The Family Man 2 is one of the highly awaited shows on the digital screen.
Featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni in lead roles, The Family Man 2 has been ruling the popularity charts since its premiere on June 4.
Released on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video, The Family Man 2 has created an unprecedented buzz among cinelovers with the story of intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari who is trying to save the nation by battling terrorists and insurgents trying to destroy it.
Within just two days of its release, The Family Man 2 has garnered record viewership which has boosted its IMDB rating to 8.7.
Conceptualized by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, The Family Man is the story of intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari as he tries to balance his family life with the requirements of his profession, that requires him to battle the enemies of the Nation.
Season 2 of The Family Man sees Manoj Bajpayee reprise his role of intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari , with Samantha Akkineni, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwantary featuring in pivotal roles
Season 2 of show also marks the digital debut of actor Samantha Akkineni. In the series, Samantha essays the role of Raji, the new nemesis of Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee. She plays a Sri Lankan Tamilian.
One of the most awaited features of the Season 2 has been casting of South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni, who will be seen in a Hindi web series or film for the first time.
Like the first season, Manoj Bajpayee again leaves an impression in season 2 with his act as a perceptive intelligence officer who is passionate about his job of saving the nation from its enemies. Sherni on Amazon Prime Video
After her brilliant portrayal of the Bindaas mathematical genius Shakuntala Devi in the film Shakuntala Devi last year, Vidya Balan has won rave reviews with another power packed role in her new film Sherni, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video from June18..
The Bollywood drama featured Vidya Balan as an upright Forest officer, who powers through the brutal beasts of social barriers set by the patriarchal society and the lackadaisical attitudes within her department.
Produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment, Sherni is helmed by Newton-fame director Amit Masurkar and is laced with his trademark satire. The film also has an eclectic mix of actors like Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala and Neeraj Kabi in key roles.
Sherni is a story set in the backdrop of man-animal conflict where a forest officer (Vidya Balan) must work through the brutal beasts of social barriers set by a patriarchal society and the languid attitude within her department, as she leads a team intending to capture an unsettled tigress.
Her journey to righteousness is metaphorical to the tigress as she battles obstacles and pressures, both natural and man-made.
Sherni recieved plaudits from critics for its incisive look at the problem of man animal conflict, the bureaucratic apathy and political opportunism that hinder it.

Sunflower on ZEE5
At number four position among the top ten OTT Originals of the week is crime thriller comedy Sunflower.
Featuring actor Sunil Grover in the lead, Sunflower began streaming on ZEE5 streaming platform from June 11.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co and directed by Vikas Bahl, Sunflower revolves around a murder mystery based in a middle-class housing society in Mumbai called Sunflower.
Sunflower features Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.
The film has won rave reviews from critics for its edge of the seat thrills and its performances.
Ray on Netflix
Amidst celebration of the birth centenary of master filmmaker Satyajit Ray, an upcoming anthology of short stories by the Cannes and National film award winner has evoked tremendous buzz among cinelovers.
Ray, an anthology of short stories by the celebrated filmmaker, that premiered on Netflix on June 25, is among the most awaited web series this Summer.
Featuring four short stories by Satyajit Ray covering a wide range of human emotions, including ego, envy, revenge and betrayal, Ray brings to light human vulnerabilities.
The stories - Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa, Forget Me Not, Behripiya and Spotlight - have been adapted for the screen by noted filmmakers Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherjee and Vasan Bala.
