Zee Studios announce investigative drama about media integrity with Yami Gautam in the lead

After horror comedy Bhoot Police,  Bollywood actress Yami Gautam will feature in Lost,  an investigative drama about media integrity,  to be produced by Zee Studios.

Featuring Yami Gautam as a fiesty crime reporter, Lost is being produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Namah Pictures.

Set in the underbelly of Kolkata,  Lost will be helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury , who earlier helmed the highly successful and critically acclaimed film Pink.

Releasing the first look poster of the film,  Zee Studios said, 'here comes another hard-hitting and thrilling tale that's more relevant than ever in today's time, #Lost. Helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and starring Yami Gautam, Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna Neil Bhoopalam , Pia Bajpai and Tushar Pandey. Filming begins soon!.'

Besides Yami Gautam,  Lost will feature stalwarts like Rahul Khanna  and Pankaj Kanpur . It will also feature Neil Bhoopalam,  Pia Bajpai and Tushar Pandey in key roles.

Speaking about the film,  the director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury said, 'designed as an investigative drama,  at its core, the film explores themes  like commitment,  responsibility,  holding hands, and making our world beautiful and compassionate.

For me it is important that any film that I make should have a social content and that stories are taken from the world around us. Lost is an emotional thriller that represents a higher quest,  a search for lost values of empathy and integrity.'

The music of the Film is being scored by Shantanu Moitra and lyrics have been written by Swanand Kirkire.

This is the first film project signed by Yami Gautam after her marriage with writer director Aditya Dhar.

Yami will also be seen in the coming days in the horror comedy Bhoot Police,  which releases on Disney Hotstar on September 17,
