Ammy Virk & Sonam Bajwa starrer PUAADA Set To Release In Theatres this  week

After a prolonged period of shutdown due to Covid-19 pandemic,it will be back to cinemas for the audiences with Punjabi film Puaada , Hollywood film Mortal Combat and Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom releasing in theatres in the  coming weeks.

This week will see the release of Punjabi film Puaada in cinema halls worldwide , making it the first Punjabi film to release in theatres after a gap of an year and a half.

Puaada, which features Ammi Virk and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, will be releasing their film in theatres worldwide on August 12.

A Punjabi language word meaning “panga” or quarrel,  Puaada is a film  full of loads of comedy, entertainment, romance and dollops of madness.

Puaada's lead actor Ammy virk is excited over the release of the film and eagerly awaiting the response of audiences to the film.

“This is the perfect film for everyone to come watch for two hours and forget all their worries at home and just have a fun laughter ride at the cinemas,”  he said in a chat ahead of release of the film.

This is the fourth film to witness the popular pairing of Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa,  who have given several hits to the Punjabi film industry .

Talking about her crackling chemistry with Ammy Virk,  Sonam Bajwa said, 'our chemistry is natural and magical on screen. Right from our first film, Ammy and I have always had this natural ease with each other and that’s what the audiences enjoy.'

Both Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are looking forward to creating magic for the fourth time on screens as a lead pair!

The trailer of the film released earlier this month promises several twists in the story.

An interesting twist or Puaada(trouble) in this romantic  jodi occurs when Ammy’s character unexpectedly pulls away from the marriage. Thereafter ensues the comedic quarrels between them and their families.

Asked about the twist, the lead pair said, “that’s the surprise in the entertainment that will be revealed on screens!”  

A  mad, desi, comedy, romance, Puaada has been directed by debutante Rupinder Chahal and produced by Atul Bhalla of A and A Pictures and Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh and Aman Gill of Brat Films .

The film is being released worldwide  by Zee Studios. 

Puaada was initially set to release earlier this year but it's release had to be pushed back due the the pandemic.
