I love the emotional connect of Dr Monami in Ziddi Dil Maane Na ; Kaveri Priyam

After grabbing eyeballs for her portrayal of Kuhu Rajvansh in the television show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyar ke, actress Kaveri Priyam is now gearing up for her new show Ziddi Dil Maane Na on Sab TV.

Ziddi Dil Maane Na,  which premieres on Sab TV on August 30, will see Kaveri play the role of the soft hearted Dr Monami, who is  among a bunch of trained civil cadets who meet at the Parakram SAF (Special Action Force) Base Camp.

In a chat ahead of the telecast of Ziddi Dil Maane Na , Kaveri said that she could relate to the character of Monami in a lot of ways. 

She says that she loves the emotional connect of Monami 's character in the show.

'My character, Dr. Monami, has a lot of similarities with me. She is kind and soft-hearted and wants to keeps everyone happy and is always on her toes to solve problems of people and help them walk out of any sorrow or trouble that comes their way. So, I  could relate to Monami in a  lot of ways.

Kaveri said that what she loves  about the character of Monami is her emotional connect with everyone in the academy.

' I am enjoying portraying the character because I love her emotional connect with everyone in the academy. For Dr. Monami, emotional quotient is a step ahead than discipline.

This character is helping me excel at delivering various emotions on screen,' Kaveri said.

Kaveri said that preparing for the role of Monami was quite challenging.

On the very first day of shoot, I was placed right in front of a trained boxer. It was a whole new experience for me which taught me how strong I have to be to play Monami. My very first day was a day full of realisations and I made up my mind to conquer every challenge that I have to, so I can ace this role.,

Earlier, it was challenging as well as exhausting for me to do these preparations and trainings by waking up at 5 in the morning but now, every day on the set pumps me with a new level of energy and enthusiasm,'the actress said.

The actress said Ziddi Dil Maane Na is a kind of show she has been wanting to do since a long time.

'It is a youth based show- a kind of show that I have wanted to do for a  long time.  I am thoroughly enjoying it,'she said.

Kaveri,  who began her television career with Naagin 2, in 2015, shot to fame with her portrayal of Kuhu Rajvansh in the television show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyar ke,  telecast on Star Plus.

She won the Lions Gold award in 2019 for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the television show .

A youthful show that revolves around a bunch of trained civil cadets who meet at the Parakram SAF (Special Action Force) Base Camp, Ziddi Dil Maane Na takes viewers through journey of the  cadets  as they discover love, life and explore budding romance in their lives while figuring a way to fit in and survive at the camp.

Produced by Sunshine Productions, Ziddi Dil Maane Na features Shaalien Malhotra, Kaveri Priyam, Kunal Karan Kapoor, Diljot Chhabra, Aditya Deshmukh and Simple Kaul in the lead roles.

The show is set to premiere on Sab TV on  August 30 every Monday-Friday at 8 PM.
