Shooting for Anthology Swad begins in New Delhi

With commencement of various business activities in Delhi following a  dip in COVID-19 cases , Shooting for films , television shows and web series has commenced on various locations in the city.

 Shooting for anthology Swad is being held in the city.

Shooting for the Anthology,  which features Ashnoor Kaur and Saanand Verma in a short story segment of the anthology, commenced at Preet Vihar in East Delhi last evening.

Among those who participated in the shooting schedule were actors Ashnoor Kaur and Saanand Verma and director Sachin Gupta. 

An anthology series being produced under the banner Chilsag Pictures Treasure Tales,  Swad, which comprises four short stories , will soon be released on an OTT platform.

Taking about the anthology,  Director Sachin Gupta said, " Swad is all about different flavours and moments of life. The film has four stories and I hope they add different flavours to your life which is nowadays missing.'

Speaking about the anthology and her role,  actress Ashnoor Kaur, who has earlier acted in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus and Patiala Babes on Sony Entertainment Television, said she is extremely excited about Swad and awaiting the audience response to the anthology series.

" I am very excited for the release of Swad, I have never done such a role before, I am playing a role of a struggling actress in the film who needs someone in her life to admire her. And when someone actually admires you irrespective of age, how you forget about the real world is shown in film,'Ashnoor Kaur said.

Talking about the anthology,  the witty Saanand Verma who is famous for his comedy roles in the diamond Chicchore  and popular TV serial Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain said , " I am playing the role of a crazy admirer of Ashnoor. I am dying to work with her and when I finally I get a chance, what a mess it becomes will be seen in the film."

With the abatement of the second wave of COVID-19 and dip in covid-19 cases in the country,  various state governments have allowed the commencement of various activities,  including opening of malls and shooting for films, television shows and web series in their respective states.

While shooting has commenced in various districts in Maharashtra following a dip in Covid cases, Delhi government has allowed commencement of shooting at film city of Noida and other locations in Delhi.
